Originally rescued from Bosnia, Scarlett has experienced significant trauma and is very frightened of the world around her. She is gentle with people and shows no aggression towards humans, but needs time, patience and space to build trust and feel safe.

Scarlett is currently terrified of leads and harnesses and will need an experienced, patient person who is happy to let her progress at her own pace.

• A child-free home

• No other pets

• A quiet, calm and predictable environment

• Someone patient and understanding who won’t rush her

Kennel life is overwhelming for Scarlett, so finding her a safe home where she can decompress is especially important.

Full behavioural support will be provided by award-winning behaviourist Victoria Duke, who will support Scarlett and her adopter every step of the way.

Scarlett has been through so much. She now needs someone willing to give her the time and security she needs to learn that the world can be a safe place.
